The statue painted by Javier Jimenez shows the original colors of the Watari Kappa character, while
that Cristina Ravenna’s takes its inspiration from the floral patterns of the centuries-old art from Granada, cooked as a fajalauza. You can see the complete process of painting these sculptures in the following video:
